The Summer 2026 Top Ten Tech events: What Actually Moved the Needle(and Whats still Ahead)

Six weeks. Ten events. Two continents. If you’re building a brand in tech, this summer’s calendar was the busiest I’ve seen and the brands that showed up strategically are already converting that visibility into pipeline. Here’s the real read on where the action was, and where it’s still headed before Labor Day.

What Already Happened (and What the Numbers Actually Say).

London Tech Week kicked off the season June 8–12, pulling 30,000+ attendees from 128 countries Perplexity, ElevenLabs, and AWS UK all had leadership on stage. If you had a presence here, you were talking to the enterprise buyers setting Q3/Q4 budgets.

VivaTech turned 10 this year (June 17–20, Paris) and blew past its own record: 200,000+ visitors, up from 180,000 in 2025. Jeff Bezos headlined; Modi and Macron shared a stage on AI policy. If your brand isn’t in the “Top 100 Next Unicorns” conversation yet, this is the list to watch — a third of past honorees have already hit unicorn status.

GITEX AI Europe (June 30–July 1, Berlin) leaned hard into “Choose Europe” as a strong narrative, with 30,000+ tech and business leaders and 600+ VCs in the room.

AI Engineer World’s Fair (June 29–July 2, San Francisco) stayed true to its practitioner roots — 6,000+ engineers, not executives, across 29 technical tracks. This is the audience for infrastructure and dev-tool brands, full stop.

RAISE Summit (July 8–9, Paris) cemented itself as Europe’s highest-density AI room: 9,000 attendees, 80% C-level or founder, Yann LeCun and Mark Cuban both on stage.

MACHINA Summit, RAISE’s new physical-AI spinoff (July 7, Paris), is worth watching next year if you’re anywhere near robotics or embodied AI — it’s small now, which is exactly why it’s valuable.

DIGITAL EUROPE’s Summer Summit (July 1, Brussels) was smaller and policy-focused, but if you operate in the EU, this is where the AI Act’s next chapter gets shaped in the room, not just in press releases.

What’s Still Ahead This Summer

AUTONOMOUS — July 16, San Francisco. One day, capped at 500 people, all robotics and physical AI. If you want signal density over crowd size, this is it — founders, engineers, and investors in one room, no filler.

Farnborough International Airshow — July 20–24, UK. The biggest edition in its 78-year history: 1,500+ exhibitors, ~80,000 trade visitors, a new sixth exhibition hall. Aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing brands — this is your moment, including the new Enterprise Gateway program (July 21–23) for SMEs looking to break into the supply chain.

How to Actually Make These Work for Your Brand

The events are only half the equation. What separates brands that leave with pipeline from brands that leave with a stack of business cards:

– Book meetings before you land. Reach out to speakers, sponsors, and target accounts a week ahead — don’t rely on booth traffic.
– Cover it live. Social, blog, short video and tag the brands you’re engaging with. Content compounds visibility
– Follow up inside 48 hours. Not a week later. The conversation is still warm; use it.
– Treat it as a media list, not a one-off. Every event you attend should feed your next PR cycle, not disappear into a folder of LinkedIn connections.

If you’re deciding where to spend the rest of your 2026 travel budget pick based on which audience you’re actually trying to reach and alignment with your business goals
